A Christian textbook ministry designed to meet the need for Christian textbooks & teaching aids. The story is based mainly upon childhood experiences of Mrs. Ebertina Nordtvedt, the author's mother-law - her memoirs. Hilda's parents were immigrants from Norway who came to the U.S. in the late 1800's via the Restoration ship. (It is a story compared to the Mayflower.) The story is one that children can relate to in an old-fashioned manner & appeal with Christian values. A glossary is at back of book. A great read for children.
