Joni Eareckson Tada's Secret Strength offers the reader encouragement in the areas of God's strength, grace, and God's praise. Because Joni has spent over thirty years as a quadriplegic, her words ring true as one who knows hardship. This book would be a great gift to give as a gift to anyone going through tough times and seeking answers to difficult questions. This book is truly one of the best devotional books I have ever read.

When I was a teenager, my father introduced me to Joni via her first book. I have been amazed at how she found strength to carry on while being a quadraplegic. I snapped up this book and found the answer in a deeper way than her first book. Written with many topics covered, three pages at a time with a "stronghold" section after each.
