Great book, keeps your interest in the story as it unfolds. Mystery and secrets throughout.

If you like that rascal Leonardo, you'll like this. He encrypted a message in his "Last Supper" while the Vatican was trying to "Inquisition" him, all while a murder mystery unfolded. JD

I just couldn't really get into the story. I don't want to give a bad review and discourage another reader, thus 3 stars, but I didn't finish it. I think the idea is good, but the writing didn't steal my attention, so on to another book in the large PBS TBR stack!

Good book! Well researched by the author and presents his views on "The Last Supper" in an "historical novel" approach. Not as controversial as "The DaVinci Code".

I liked this historical thriller about Da Vinci, The Last Supper, religious and political intrigue in the 15th century. Sometimes there are mysteries and sometimes there are nothing to find, except rumors.

My husband read this book and enjoyed it. I can not comment since I did not read it.

Well, I did finish it. It did keep me interested enough to do that. Again the names get to be confusing. I do like the idea that painters use symbolizm to relay more that what 1st meets the eye. I would not recommend to just the ordinary casual reader, I don't think it would hold their interest long enough nor is it well written enough to make you want to keep finding time to read. I really had to force myself to complete this one.

Interesting story although at the end I felt a little let down that the revelation wasn't more. Over all a good read.

I really enjoyed this book. Took a little while to get into, but in the end it was worth it.
