I wish I owned this book so I could offer it here, but I just read the copy from the local library.
This book rates right up there with The Thorn Birds, which I have read numerous times with great pleasure. It beats ALL of Nicholas Sparks' books, hands down. I was drawn into the story yesterday and could not put it down until I finished it this morning. What a heartbreakingly beautiful, tragic love story. You won't regret reading this book. It will haunt you.
