This is a charming book, it shows different animals that are from the desert I believe. It's hard for children to understand some of the real names for the animals that's in it so you end up making up easier animals that they can comprehend. I'm guessing it's meant to be for babies and toddlers but my daughter doesn't enjoy this one.

Board type book produced by the Western National Parks association. Has great animals for kids to identify (javelina, golden eagle, pallid bats, and more) Repetition also makes it fun for toddlers to hear.
