Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this but everyone is so nice on this forums I feel most comfortable posting here.

there's also a thread that gets bumped up from time to time..it was bumped up when I just checked at 4:30 am centralt ime! :-) it says something like' show off your shelf and offer deals' or something along those lines. open and click on 'go to last post' then page up is how I do it so you know it's more current on the deals there. some people put a deal offer in the siggy line so if you scroll through a thread, like 'what are we reading this week' you might see 'always open to deals' or '2 for 1' or 'clearing out all series romances - 3/1' etc etc etc.

If you have specific ones you're looking for that aren't wishlisted there's a thread on the first page or 2 that's somethign li ke 'is this on your bookshelf'. If you have a wishlisted book you want to offer to someone here there's another thread 'is this on your wishlist?'. these are pretty good threadst hough they tend to get long then we start a #2..think we're at #5 on one list and #4 on the other! some of us were tired of ordering through FIFO and having the deal timeout, etc so thought it'd be easy to have threads so we can post/search deals among ourselves. other reasons too but so far these seem to work better than the nothing we had before!

If you've already ordered, you could always check the person's profile and see if they posted a deal in it...or you can go into the Book Bazaar and Search Discussion Forums for the sender's nickname and see if they have anything posted. You can get the info of who is the sender by either PMing the member after you place your order, or using the Order More From Member nutton, it will take you to their bookshelf.

You can also try searching in the boxer section.  You don't have to be a boxer to search.  I did that once when I was looking for a few in a series and they were agreeable to a 2/1 deal.

Or you could just post in your signature a couple books you are looking for and if anyone would do a deal.  I've seen a lot of these like "looking for deals on Stephen King or Nora Roberts" etc..., If it's a popular author like those that have many copies of all their books in PBS-someone will PM you.
