I currently have one hardback book. Can I list that book on this site? I understand postage might be more, that's fine.

What are other rules for types of books I can list here? (Hardcover vs paperback, fiction vs. college book.) I did not see any such rules in my recent wanderings around the site.

You can absolutely list a hardback book!  Yes, postage will be more, but some people really like hardbacks and might be thrilled to see your book listed!  Just make sure that when you list it, it's properly identified as a hardback.

Go to the Help Center and type in "What can be posted here?" in the search box. You should get a link to the posting guidelines. Also be sure and read the book condition guidelines as well.

Hardbacks are fine to post! Some can cost more than just buying credits when it comes to the postage, but I like to send them out because I know the person who asked for it really wants it!

Hi Chuck,

From the Help Center:

PBS is for the exchange of used books across all topics of interest.  Paperback, hardcover and audio books in good condition are acceptable here.

  • Paperback books
  • Hardcover books (dust jackets not required)
  • Audio books (must be originals, not burned copies)
  • Ex-library books
  • Books with accompanying media
  • Textbooks/Workbooks
  • Foreign-language books (if in a language other than English, the language must be specified in the book description)

Hope this helps.
