I have a question that more than likely has an obvious answer. When sending more than 1 book to the same person, do I just wrap the books together and send them on their way, or is there some special procedure that I'm missing?

We discussed this briefly in the Postal forum.

The way you save money on multiple book orders is by mailing them all together in 1 pkg, even if you do what Julie suggested and wrap each seperately first and then bundle them.

Imagine you have 2 paperbacks ordered by the same member. If you ship them seperately, you pay $2.13 for each book - total of $4.26 Now, wrap them together and pay for a 2 lb package - $2.47 Savings of $1.79

The FIRST pound of media mail is always $2.13, then $0.34/pound

Of course, with the new 13 oz rule, it may be worth it to you to mail seperately if you can beat the weight limit that way.

Fairly often, with PB's that aren't too large/heavy, you can send two of them with a package that weighs less than 1 lb., though if it's >13 oz., you have to take it to the counter, if you use stamps on it.  You really need a good scale that weighs in  oz. up to 1 lb., though.
