I really enjoyed this book even though I'm an adult and this book is more geared towards kids. There are a few exercises that will teach you how to use the machine and a few puzzles and patterns. I definitely recommend this to anyone learning to sew and or wanting to learn to sew.

Great resource for anyone who wants to learn to sew or to teach someone else, or have them teach themselves. OF course, depending on the age of the child, whether it's safe to turn them loose with the sewing machine, which can be a dangerous tool. We enjoyed this one; I taught a homeschool class using it as a resource. Neat projects included.
