falls a bit short compared to the classic female oxbridge mystery, Dorothy Sayers' "Gaudy Night", but still a very enjoyable read. Lots of Cambridge atmosphere, but a rather transparent plot.

The incredible ego of Alistair Greenwood, Professor of Modern History at Cambridge, brings him to the kind of end he seems to richly deserve. Many suspects, interesting relationships, and that atmosphere of the beautiful Cambridge and surroundings.
