I like the characters very much but the storyline is not exciting, suspenseful, thrilling --it is an 80 yr old mystery and it's mostly about investigating, at least 1/2 of every page is just descriptions and that is boring, skim the pages, you don't need all the descriptions to get the story and skip on down to the storyline if you want to finish the book which I did but I don't think King will be on my list of 'must read'
