Well, I love Shakespeare, and I support women's equality, racial, religious. national and workers' equality - but I could not understand the essays in this book regarding how Shakespeare's works can be related to these modern issues. Perhaps, although I have a background in literature, I am not sophisticated enough to relate to professional literature critics and professors. I could not get beyond the first essay.
