And best of all, Fei fei is asked to teach the other children how to make kites! Ting-xing Ye was born in Shanghai and came to Toronto in August 1987 as a visiting scholar at York University. She is the author of two children's books, "Three Monks, No Water" and "Weighing the Elephant." Ting-xing lives near Toronto.
