Customer Reviews: Great find Interesting to read, July 20, 2000. Reviewer: "jaquita874". Just looking at the summary of this book, I was already interested. This book kept me interested till the end. It had a surprise in store for me, but even when I figured it out, I was still intersted. Very good suspense. I recommend it for any John Farris fans.

"Anne Ramsdell dreamed of soft rain and stately elms. Reality was a psychopathic maniac who mauled her, battered her, hurled her through a plate-glass window and now stalks her wherever she goes. She cannot remember his face - she cannot forget her terror."

A woman is assaulted, battered and mauled by a maniacal assailant. She survives and is in a state of shock and amnesia from which she may never recover. Very good book with many twist and turns and surprises.
