Yet another of my books on the Sam Sheppard murder case. Holmes was a newspaper reporter who had access to Sheppard and his family. The book only covers events through Sheppard's conviction at his first trial. Well-written. Holmes, like most contemporary writers, was convinced of Sheppard's innocence.
