Having read (and highly recommended) Billie Letts "The Honk 'n' Holler Opening Soon", I ordered another book by the same author - Shoot the Moon.

This one also takes place in a small town but also involves a 30 year old local murder. Again the characters felt warm and friendly (well, most of them!).

It was a good book to read on a relaxing summer weekend - not a lot over-the-top drama, just a book full of people I wouldn't mind spending time with. It would also be the perfect book for a chilly Autumn day!

I enjoyed this book as well.  It's on my bookshelf if anyone is interested.
