I had to put a short term RC up due to a book I needed for a friend ...anyhow...I will soon take it off but when I see books people are posting TO my WL under the picture of the book it has a grey box that asks that. show requesters conditions...Am I suppose to click that or what?? I set my RC so why would I need to click this box every time? I am confused because I set it and what if I went away for a few days..didnt hit yet anotherbutton ..would I then be stuck with a book that someone didnt see the RC??????????????? tHANK YOU AHEAD Last Edited on: 9/3/10 2:01 AM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

I think you are asking about the button which when you click, shows you your RC on the order. But there is also another button on the order request form where you can turn off your RC for each order. (It is unclear which button you are talking about, the big slightly oval one on the account page? Or the tiny check mark box on the acceptance form?) If you have the RC on, then it will be on for all auto requests. The other button on your accounts page is a new feature so we can go back and see what the RC is for orders in progress. So folks can double check the RC before mailing. |

Like Emily said, that box is just showing you what the conditions were if you had them on the book.. :) that way YOU know if you had an RC on that particular book. The sender had to accept the conditions, so they are aware of them also. It's kinda nice-because if you have requests both with and without conditions you can see which ones do and do not have them throught the whole mailing and delivery process. It's also nice because if you have multiple requests with conditions, you can see those conditions after you accept. :) Last Edited on: 9/3/10 11:24 AM ET - Total times edited: 3 |

It should open a blue pop up window showing your RC. Do you have a pop up blocker installed? |

The minute the request goes through, you can take down the RC. I've turned a specific one on, made a request, then turned it off. It is the RC at the time of the request. Last Edited on: 9/4/10 5:21 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Sandy the RC is attached to the transaction, so that even if you turn it off, they can still view it and it will be viewable in the transaction archive once the transaction has been completed. |
