I haven't seen this done lately and thought it might be fun to revisit a way to highlight our books.  Use the titles of your books to showcase your shelf.  I'm not very creative, so bear with me here.  I'm sure that many of you will be much better at this, LOL.

Ok, Brothers and Sisters, people haven't exactly been Beating the Street or knocking down doors to order my books lately. I'm usually a Calm, Cool Adjusted kind of gal and have never been accused of being Untouchable, a Scoundrel, or a Glamour Puss. And certainly never a Maneater!  But I suddenly feel the need to stand on the Threshold of The Precipice and offer what could be Your Big Break!

I've become One Dangerous Lady and perhaps even Flat Crazy! Some may say "Look at her, she's Hell on Wheels, out there Shaking Her Assets!"

This opportunity doesn't involve a Journey to the Emerald City, or a Dark Journey to The Lost World. In fact, it hardly requires any Work at all to discover the Secrets of a Lady (my bookshelf).

Have a look at my shelf, be it Morning, Noon, and Night and perhaps you'll be Caught Up in the Rapture of finding something new to read!

Before I Say Goodbye, I thank you for playing along and joining me in being silly. happy0176.gif

As Stephanie opened The Locker at her gym, she remembered her reaction to seeing the Help Wanted sign in the Brooklyn store window on Grand Avenue. Stephanie had been playing The Tug Of War with job hunting for Three Junes now, and it was high time she found a job. The clock was going Ticktock in her ear, and despite her Good Intentions, the bills were piling up. Stephanie had always considered herself A Virtuous Woman, but her recent desperation was Proof Positive that times were getting tougher.

Her mother, in the tradition of the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, had tried to give her some good advice once. She had told Stephanie that A Mother's Gift was to teach her child good lessons (such as no Running with Scissors) and to prepare her for the real world. Well, now it was time for The Reckoning, because Stephanie surely wasn't Climbing the Ladder in Stilettos. She sure would love to have some Executive Privilege in the city, but These Granite Islands weren't making it easy on her. To have an MBA from Harvard and still feel like a job at a convenience store was To Die for? She really WAS getting desperate. But if she didn't do something soon, the electric company was going to send their Assassins after her.

(LOL!! Well, I tried anyway! ~Heather)

Okay, I could never do that, but I'd be thrilled if someone would just tell me how to get the titles to turn into a link without screwing up the signature line or the rest of the post.  Maybe I should show you what I mean...

On their

Adventure in the Haunted House,
Amandine and her friends told
Chilling Ghost Stories and

Okay, all of that was supposed to be on the same line, but it just kept skipping down and wouldn't let me delete or backspace to get it onto the same line.  If anyone wants to help, please PM me.  Thanks.

The Summer of You

No Words Alone can describe that day, I walked To the Edge of the Scottish moor and ran into the Highland Outlaw.  He Revealed that he would Show No Mercy that I was What A Scoundrel Wants and that I would be A Bride Most Begrudging.

He said he would Untie My Heart and that I would Surrender After the Kiss, he leaned in, gazing into my eyes and whispered that I was his Lady of Light and Shadows and that I was here To Rescue A Rogue. Because I am a gently bred woman, he never saw it coming when I sucker punched him and Shattered his nose, even though I wanted To Taste Temptation . I then told him that I wouldn't marry him even if he was The Raven Prince  and that he better keep his hands to himself.

We sat down and talked Beyond Sunrise and I found out that he wasn't so Wild at Heart.  I apologized for his nose being Broken. I had to leave because I would be Dead in the Family if I got home any later. I was already going to have to tell The Darkest Lie about my whereabouts. He walked me home and my family was up waiting for me, that's when the Apocalypse Happens, my father said that if I was going to Ride the Fire that I was going to have to accept the consequences. You know, Chaos Bites!

My Scottish lad said that there is only One Way Out and that he was giving An Offer From a Gentleman. Mama always said that you could tell The Measure of a Lady by the way she handles situations. If I was giving Confessions at Midnight, I would reveal that I had The Darkest Passion for the Blue-Eyed Devil. The Unknown was so exciting.

I agreed to marry that Smooth Talking Stranger but only if he would give me a month to prepare. He flatly disagreed and He Said Now. Now? Are you Crazy Love, I can't marry you until after the Full Moon Rising, to which he relented. I thought I heard him mutter Fool Moon but I can't be sure.

Sometimes Playing With Fire works out in the end, I found out that I was Completely Smitten with my betrothed and that he was the  King of Sword and Sky!

This was so much fun, thanks for posting this!

Edited several times to fix errors, also, I didn't read the part about it being your bookshelf, these are my tbr books lol.

This is great! I promise I'll try this out as soon as I have a few hours to myself so I can think up something halfway legible.

gonna give it a try-

I had One Fearful Yellow Eye so I went to the Op-Center near New York's 50 Best Night Spots

where I met The Painted Lady who was   The Paid Companion of the Toxic Bachelor.

She told me, Without Remorse, that You and Your Dog

were spending  A Summer in Sonoma, while she, on the other hand was Otherwise Engaged.

She said you were staying at The Cottage, and that The Long Road Home was full of Mixed Blessings.
