This is book 2 of the Braddock-Black series.
I liked the love story and the sexy scenes in this one -- this was a nice romantic read.
I usually don't like western romances, but I enjoyed this one. The hero & heroine were really interesting, & I loved the tidbits of real history interspersed within the story.
Wow Hot! Antoher great Susan Johnson story
From the back of the book-
One woman's passion..would cost the handsome stranger fifty-thousand dollars. And yet, when Trey Braddock-Black first laid eyes on the seductive beauty, he vowed to possess her-at any price. For she was Empress Jordan, and she was temptation...
From the lawless hills of Montana to the glittering salons of Paris, here is the glorious story of a love wilder than a western storm. A fiery romance.
Susan Johnson's books are hot and sexy
I am currently reading this book. EXCELLENT so far
From the mistress of erotic historicals comes her steamy sequel about the Braddock-Black dynasty from Blaze. The fires of romance are white-hot when Empress Jordan flees to the Montana wilderness and finds a man as wild as the land around him.
This is the 2nd book of the Braddock-Black series.
Empress Jordan, of French decent was desperate with so many mouths to feed (her brother and sisters) so she offered to sell her services for 3 weeks in exchange for money. Handsome and wealthy Trey Black was present at Lily's parlour to his first auction and end up bidding an obscene amount of money ($50,000) for her.
He was familiar with pleasuring women but was taken by surprise by her sweet innocence and her lush beauty. Without a question, she was definitely worth every penny. The question is how he could keep her when their time is up.
