Classic Baldacci. Though the pace is not as breath-taking as some of his other books, this story is intriguing on several levels, and I have enjoyed it as much as and more than his other novels. It is Sean and Michelle again, this time in Tidewater Virginia. Plenty of adventure, some surprises along the way, and over all, just a good, fun read.

The story is extremely good. The characters are believable. It was hard to put down. The subject matter almost seems like it could even be true. It gives a scarey impression of what some people will do for what they claim is the "good of the nation or even national security".

"Simple Genius" is not Baldacci's best work. The plot was solid, but lacked the terrific suspense that permeates some of his other works and the ending left too many unanswered questions.

A really good book, Simple Genius is typical Baldacci work. He really draws interesting characters and involves them in surprising plot twists and action. I would recommend this book to all lovers of mystery/thrillers.

Gripping from the start and exciting throughout!
Good read
A good book. Kept me guessing until the end.
I enjoyed this book, as I always enjoy David Baldacci's books. It wasn't my favorite of his but good nonetheless.

There is a psychiatrist in this Sean King and Michelle Maxwell adventure. I enjoyed the psycho babble; you may or may not. Also, it had an unexpected ending. The story gave no hints to the unexpected ending and I did not like that but othewise I enjoyed the story.

My Review
I enjoy reading about Michelle Maxwell and Sean King's relationship and adventures. This book was very good but a little slow in some parts but picked up towards the end. It was a fun read trying to figure out exactly what was going on behind the gates at Camp Peary. Figuring out who was good and who was bad also added to the plot and kept me guessing until the very end. I will definitely continue reading the series and I do look forward to the next installment and what will be happening with Michelle and Sean. I would highly recommend this series to those who love mystery and adventure mixed in with a little romance.

My Review

I like Baldacci and this one was good. Action packed and revealing much more of the main characters. A surprise awaits at the end.

With the help of his partner, Michelle Maxwell, Sean needs to uncover the truth of what is happening across the river.
This book started off with Michelle entering a mental hospital after nearly being killed in a barroom brawl.
