When I first began reading this book I nearly put it down due to the sheer number of characters in the Harrison family, who the story revolves around. But very soon thereafter I was totally caught up in all that occurred in this large extended family over the course of a year. A very satisfying, perceptive book by a new-to-me author and I will be looking for her other books to read.
