This is a great Southern read about a political family in Mississippi. They have a wonderful reputation until the Governor's wife has a new baby who is black. This causes a huge scandal. She swears her innocence, but no one believes her. It takes her losing everything to begin her search for the truth.
This was a really good book.
A story of the New South that seems just like the Old South! This book has twists and turns....when you think you know the answere, the author throws you another curve............fast read!
