Just so you know, I expected the sisterchicks books to be about the same women, but book 2 is about two different women than book one. Each books seems to stand alone. The books are about women who care about each other, we have a sisterchick friendship, of course they go on a trip somewhere. Our sisterchicks go to Hawaii. This book really gave you a beautiful history lesson about Hawaii, at least from a Christian missionary point of view. You will learn about Leis, hulas, the language, and more. I was really impressed with this book even more than book one. Each book was so different, a different voice. If you like Christian fiction you will love it. If you are not into christian fiction you might find the story slow, no murder, no sex, post-divorce struggle,drugs, alcohol, expensive shoes or clothes, lust, or major life issues to deal with. Just two great friends turning 40 together, and appreciating life.

This was a fun, quick read. I love all of the info about the Hawaiian culture that is in this book.
Good girl book! Positive reading.
