A good follow up to Sisters and Lovers. The characters are portrayed as women desperately trying to save love while the men in their lives act as if they don't give a popsicle. I would like to say that it is OKAY TO BE SINGLE WOMEN!! Get to know who you are as a human being, solve and settle issues with yourself, strengthen your relationship with God who, in turn, will teach you who you are. Let's stop making excuses for men when they treat the women in their life sloppy!! Don't be afraid to let a man go and try it again. I make no more excuses for another person's behavior and the minute I feel 'less than' I'm outta there!! After reading this book I felt compromised as a woman!
