I completely reccomend this book.My daughter has read this book, and I have as well. It tells the story of Kate, a young girl diagnosed at age 2 with leukemia. Her sister, Anna was created to be Kate's perfect match(meaning be available for donations, blood transfusions, etc.) Anna is tired of it. She decides to do something about it. Will this tear their family apart? What happens next? Besides Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult(Which I've also read), this is yet another fantastic book by Jodi Picoult. |

I have absolutely no desire to read the book nor see the movie. It's not young adult either, so this is the wrong forum to be posting about it. |

I read that book and thought it was good up until the very end, when I threw the book across the room, screamed at Picoult for her cop out and vowed never to read her again. |

Lacy, that was my reaction! Though I did read another of her books after, didn't like any of it, and vowed after that not to read her again. :) I also know that there's been at least one thread about this in the Hidden Gems forum so I suggest the OP do a search there. |

Yeah, I'm not much of a JP fan. I tried reading Nineteen Minutes and gave up about half-way through. JP's books aren't something I'd normally read, but Nineteen Minutes sounded interesting. I was wrong. |

I've read My Sister's Keeper and Nineteen Minutes - I liked both a lot, but I had to be in the right mood to read them. I've come across several other Jodi Picoult books (I think I have 3 on my shelf) but I will probably read maybe one per year, since they affect my mood so much afterwards. |
