Site no longer loads on Google Chrome. Why?

I no longer have access for 2 days. Any ideas. Used IE in a friends computer to access site. Not computer savvy and not sure it I am just out of luck if I can no longer access PBS from my computer. Just spins and says gateway timout. Will check back when I can find a computer with IE browser.

I've been using Chrome all along and have not experienced the connection problems that members are talking about.

My Chrome version is:

Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have logged on at various times of the day and night from home using Chrome, IE as well as the new browser Edge; I prefer Chrome but the others work alright. I also logged in during business hours at work using Chrome. The only thing I can think of causing a problem is that depending on the member's location in the country we're being routed through different servers and there are traffic problems on specific servers.

I also use Chrome, multiple computers, and haven't experienced any problems. I think I got one gateway error last week, otherwise no problems through the site maintenance. Clear your Chrome History to get rid of anything bad that might be loading from history.

I'm on Goggle Chrome as well and have had no negative issues...

if you have a pc type computer firefox is easy to download and free. Only takes a couple of minutes to download. search google for firefox.
