Since the new PBS has started I have had a complete slow down of all functions, including moving from page to page. Sometimes it even times out. Is anyone else having this problem or is it my computer?

Me too and very frustrating.  One thing I wasn't given when I was born was a lot of patience.  LOL. Pat

Gail, from the complaints I been reading throughout the forums, it's happening across the site. I am still getting that gateway time out at least a few times per day when I go from one thing to another. I hope they get all the bugs figured out soon.

Only on my Ipad and phone.  I don't have the problem with my computer

I am on the site a lot in the evenings and late at night. I see the problem occasionally, but not often. When I refresh my browser or reload the page it displays correctly at least 90%+ of the time. When it doesn't I try again and it almost always displays fine. I don't think I have ever had to reload or refresh more than twice. :-)

Yep. I use firefox and it helps if you just give up, open a new window and try again. It's frustrating.

I get the time out page, or the looking for something specific page when trying to add books to my shelf, trying to post or search and just trying to navigate around the site and around my account. I put my shelf on hold until it's straightened out.

I think somehow, the site is doing more business so it's slower.

All the time! So frustrating dealing with this, especially after paying to use the Site.

I was really hoping that after all the craziness (when the changes took place) died down that this site would start working better.

Unfortunately I keep getting time outs a lot too.  Pages are still slow to open.  It is definitely frustrating.
 

I've had this problem also ever since the new changes a couple weeks ago, but I could just refresh the page again and it worked right away. Today it seems to be even worse, I'm getting maybe 5% of the pages loading, if that. It took me 15 minutes to get to this post with 3 clicks: Forums > Questions About PBS > this thread, yes it's THAT slow, and I've had to reload pages more than 5 times to get the request to go through.

I haven't been having much trouble. My internet connection has been pretty terrible and the Swap sites are the ones that have been loading the best for me.

Same here. Everything is loading slow and timing out more often than not no matter when I'm on.

Yep, I'm here often, and it's happening frequently.  It's frustrating to get worse service than you got when it was free.
