This is an excellent book if you like historical details. One of the problems with so-called journalism today is that many do not know the history of the area/people they are trying to cover.
This book will give you a clear picture of events leading up to the 6-day war and how it developed. It also helps us to understand how this conflict is still shaping the Middle East today. Recommended!

Fascinating reading, I (almost) read it through without stopping. Author ended up as Netenyahu's ambassador to the US, he comes off somewhat neutral in this book.
