As always, Donna Andrew's Meg Langslow books are great. This one continues the "interesting" characters and funny situations of the series.

Once again Andrews has come up with a story that gives me some good loud belly-laughs and a nice cozy mystery to relax with. Meg is Mistress of Revels for the annual Christmas parade, which translates into being responsible for putting the show together. This year's theme is the 12 days of Christmas, and the grand finale is supposed to be Santa in his sleigh. But someone has decided to drive a holly stake into the heart of the local curmudgeon who is to play Santa. Turns out he was not just a mean old man but a blackmailer as well, so there are suspects galore. Andrews has not yet disappointed me in this amusing and thoroughly entertaining series.

Another terrific book by Donna Andrews, she has a wonderful way with words, her humour is outstanding. Her kooky characters make this book all the more wonderful. Her nutty relatives are great good fun to read about. Very, very enjoyable. Great cozy as usual.
