I like all of Wilhelm's books. Her mysteries are well crafted, plausible and above all entertaining.

Wilhelm elevates a ho-hum plot into a suspenseful narrative that sheds light on a dark chapter in history and illuminates
its effect on three generations of an American family. This is an unusual coming-of-age story about a young woman who finds
her destiny in a place she never expected to discover it.

This story is not your light mystery. Depth and endless complications.
This story has the understanding of human nature, right or wrong.
Alot of emotional violence. Plausible and entertaining.

I have read some of her other books and enjoyed them.

I have read other books by the author and they were much better than this one, so just don't start with this one. It tried very hard to be suspenseful, but to me it missed horribly. Too much going on and then nothing going on and then wrapped neatly with a bow at the end. Not worth the time it took to read it
