Great pictures, foldouts,etc. range from vivid color skin layer pages to pictures of mummies and the detail about them. It is very interesting as it shows pics of shrunken rain forest heads, scalped indian pic and the tribes' thought as they chose to create these images. It tells about middle ages thought of witches and other hair, study of "touch" among cultures,fingerprints, medicine thru ages for skin diseases, etc. It is a thorough explanation and detail through the body's frontier,
