I don't know if your skype number is related to this, but Skype is a internet telephone service.  With Skype you can make free calls over the internet to other people on Skype for as long as you like, to wherever you like. It is free to download.

Perhaps the ISBN is being mistaken for a skype number? I don't know anything about Skype, but phone numbers have 10 digits and so do ISBNs (well at least the 10 digit ones). That's just what popped into my mind when I read this.

It sounds like you might have a plug-in for your browser that scans pages and tries to recognize things that are Skype numbers and turn them into links for you. It's probably found an ISBN that just happens to match an existing skype number. Computers are just dumb machines.

I've got it too on "Nothing But Trouble" by Rachel Gibson. Glad I ran a search before starting a new thread. Sounds like it's nothing of importance...

It's the ISBN being recognized as a phone number.  My son has Skype on his computer and if I look at my WL etc on there it does the same thing,  Freaked me out the first time I noticed it!  LOL
