The year is 1877. The scene is Mexico on the brink of civil war. But Ken Larrway, a young American studentof the legendary weapons master Calleja, is fighting a war of his own. He has the death of Martin Zaldivar notched on his belt, a killing crew on his trail, a fortune in gold on his head and the wrath of Martins father, Ramos Zaldivar, the most feared warlord in Mexico on his back. Larways skill with a pistol is the settlers last hope of keeping their daughters safe and may be Larrways final shot at freedom - or his death....
