The evidence presented seems to be well-researched, and if it's all true, every elementary school child in the country should learn it, instead of the glossing treatment of the Reconstruction period that history texts now render.

If the texts could admit how wrongly we've acted in the past, we might raise a more open minded generation. We have enough jingoist sheep.

Excellent often ommitted history. Well written and researched.
