The life of a player, one day tragedy the next comedy. During Nick's time with the Chamberlain's men performing small parts in Master Shakespeare's Hamlet, he becomes involved with the Elliot family. The family's sad lives seem to mirror the tragedy being performed...Something is rotten in the state of Denmark and Nick is befriended to ferret it out. A quick read and one interpretation of Hamlet you'll never get from Cliff Notes ;p
