Mercer Mayer is an amazing story teller as well as extreamly talented artist.
This book was a wonderful retelling, with Mayer's illustrations as rich as the full, well rounded story. The origin of the prince and his love for the sleeping beauty was perfectly romantic. This should be the next book in your fairy tale collection!
