This book of essays definitely has a California based vibe. Well written, but not really my thing.
Like The White Album, this collection of Didion essays allows entry into a completely real world. The 1960s in the American West comes to life in full force through her quick and determined prose.
This is very well written perspective on the 1960s that isn't explored very often.
