Wondering if this is happening to anyone else?  I posted a bunch of books in the last few days and many of them were wishlisted.  Now the requests are showing up on my account page, but the emails are about 7 hours behind.  I checked with my provider to see if there is a problem with the emails, but they're not seeing anything.  Am wondering if anyone else is having this problem.

I just heard of a similar delay from someone else.  Out of curiousity, who is your email provider?

She looked at the date/time the email was added to her Club Communications folder (which should be when the email was actually sent) and there was a several-hour delay between that time (keeping in mind that that would be Eastern Standard Time) and the time her email was received.  If you want to check, your Club Communications folder is on the yellow bar at the top of your main My Account page.

Her email provider is AOL.

Thanks for responding Patty.  My email provider is Windstream. 

I checked the Club Communications folder.  It has the exact same time sent time as the emails state.  The problem is they were actually showing up in my email account 5-7 hours later.  Sunday night after seeing a bunch of books requested on my account page and waiting a few hours for the emails to come in, I checked my email directly on my windstream page instead of waiting for it to get to my computer's email account.  My windstream page was empty, so they weren't showing up there either. 

Well, everything seems to be working fine tonight.  Whatever the problem was it seems to have cleared up.

I always advise against managing one's PBS account via email, and to use the Main page here instead:

It is a good idea to get into the habit of checking your Main page at least once every time you log into PBS, to see the status of all active transactions. Your Main page is the place where all pending/active transactions are listed, and you can see there what is going on with all of them.

It is faster and more dependable than managing your account via email, which is subject to delayed delivery times by your email provider.

(Get to your Main page by clicking on My Account at the top of any page and then clicking on Main link from the top of the dropdown menu that appears.)
