This is an I can not put down book.A ten plus rating. Jane is forced to give up Baby Elizabeth at 2 years old to an orphanage. Elizabeth has a hard time until she passes out in front of Noah's door on the mountain. The voice of God tells him to open the door. And he finds a beautiful young woman Elizabeth with whom he falls passionately in love with.He chases Elizabeth all over Alaska and when they return she marries him.
HE teaches her love, God's love and she finds forgiveness in her soul.Plus a few more good things happen. Elizabeth's birth mother finds her and her stepfather and Elizabeth finds true love from her family and God. This is a wonderful passionate love story.

This was a very good book for the author's first book. It held my interst all the way thru. At the first I had to go back and compare my dates, but after that it I could not put it down. I was hoping Mrs.Carie would make a sequel of it, but I don't think so. She transports you back in time to Alaska and you feel as if you are in the gold fields with Elizabeth and Noah. Good reading all the way.

This was a great read. I look forward to reading more works by Jamie Carie.
This is a novel about the gold rush in Alaska and a young woman (Elizabeth) who is running from her past. Her mother (Jane) was forced to give her up when she was two years old and has spent the last 20 years searching for her. Elizabeth meets Noah in Alaska and falls in love but with all her baggage she doesn't feel safe with him and flees to the Klondike to mine for gold. Noah follows and what happens next is a really sweet ending to a good story.
Great characters and wonderful scenery. A great read

For being a christian book it sure went into the topic of sex a lot. The start of the book was wonderful, action packed even! But then after that, it just kept repeating itself and I grew bored with the storyline. She kept repeating that she wanted to mine for gold and he kept repeating how he'd love to feel a woman's touch again and what his thoughts were of her etc etc etc. Perhaps after a bit it picked back up again, I don't know. I just knew I couldn't read anymore. I read Christian books to avoid all the mushy love scenes etc etc, and this one could have been the start of a romance novel.
My favorite new author!
Jamie Carie has penned a can't-put-down debut novel in Snow Angel, a masterfully romantic story wherin cold and lonely hearts risk everything to be forever warmed. Good book.
