Hi All, I've reactivated my account with my new DPO address. I know that PBS automatically puts DPO/APO addresses into the RC system with an auto-generated system. However, I know they've changed some of the RCs lately. Could someone do me a favor and fake-request a book from me and then forward me the RC that pops up? I don't have anything active at the moment, so the order would have to be cancelled, and we'd have to work out communicating ahead of time. I'd really appreciate the help. I know there's a way to suppress the RCs but I don't remember what that is. Thank you! Robin |

I'll do it. Post something very common (something not wishlisted) and I'll order it. Let me know when you do. Last Edited on: 6/22/15 5:52 PM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

The RC will only show up when you are ordering a book yourself, not when one is requested from you. |

This is what the Help Doc's show....
The Requestor Conditions that are applied to APO/FPO/DPO requests are shown below: "This request was submitted to be sent to a US government/military address outside the USA. Postage will cost the same as within the USA. Packages sent to these addresses sometimes take longer than usual in transit, but if you use PBS Printed Postage, you will receive credit for sending the book before the book reaches its destination.

Ok, so now I find that I can (no longer???) put the zip+4 code in my address profile, and to get the Non-DPO address, I *have* to have the +4. So I guess I'll use the DPO, and lose out on anybody who refuses to ship to DPOs. :-( |
