Are you tired of having to ponder about what statement the critics think that the author is really attempting to get across? For a change of pace, read this delightfully entertaining and funny book. The plot is unusual, the settings as exotic as the comestibles. The dialogue is witty, apt to the metier: as fitting as Keseys One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. If you havent had the enjoyment of viewing the movie, Who Is Killing the Great Chefs of Europe, do so after reading the book. The dialogue is remarkably complimented by the body language. Further, the casting is superb. Youve seen it? View it again! In some ways, however, the movie surpasses the book. The mystery as to the killer is revealed much too soon on the book: after the second murder. The denouement in the movie is a total surprise. Youll note several differences in the names of characters as well as an interchange of character roles between them. All said and done, this book is a delightful read for an evening that would otherwise be rapt in ennui.
