About 3-4 years ago I borrowed a book from a friend (who I am no longer friends with so I can't ask her) it's a romance novel set I think in the 1800's in Texas or somewhere out west...a woman is kidnapped by indians and rescued by a half-indian she turns up pregnant by the indian who kidnapped her and the man who rescues her agrees to marry her so she doesn't look bad in society......she has a little boy named Texas and there is a sequel where they have a second child named Honor but I don't know if that one is a boy or girl....can someone please help me??? I have searched everyway I can on the internet with no luck and this is driving me crazy!!!!

Sorry I don't recognize your book BUT:

Abebooks.com "Book Sleuth" - you can post this search there under the Romance folder, and hopefully someone might recognize it.

Historicalromancewriters.com has a feature where you can search an unknown book by time period or by character type.   So, if you select "Native American" it might bring up some titles that could be Your book.   This is the best suggestion I have at this time -- Good luck!

Almost sounds like a Cassie Edwards or Madeline  Baker novel. Let us know if you find it.

I'm 99% sure this isn't the book you're looking for, but it sounded somewhat like Texas Destiny. I can't remember the author's name off the top of my head. But the premiss is somewhat the same. Except the hero is a ranger wounded and she comes and heals him, then disappears. He eventually finds her and her half-Indian son, Kenitay. But they don't get married.

Hope you find the book you're looking for!

I believe this is the book you’re looking for. The sequel is Texas Passions that features the children.

Texas Embrace by Rosanne Bittner

With her father murdered by renegade Apaches, Tessa Reeves feared she'd be their captive forever - that no one would ever find her. And even if she were found, she'd be scorned by those who called Indians savages...and their woman prisoners forever unclean.

John Hawkins knew how it felt to be an outcast. Born to a woman who'd suffered a brutal attack, the rugged lawman had had to develop a will of steel to survive in a harsh world. If anyone could save Tessa, it was he.

They were a man and a woman who had known violence and tragedies. Yet even with desperados and hostile Indians all around them, John and Tessa discovered they wanted something more - a chance at happiness, a future worth fighting for, and a love as wild and free as the land they called home.

Texas Passions by Rosanne Bittner

When old enemies of ex-Texas Ranger John Hawkins seek revenge against him and his beloved wife, they steal a treasure beyond price: their young son. Texas, and his little sister, Honor, John and Tess have become pawns in a cruel game meant to lure them into a deadly confrontation. But John, a half-bred known as "Hawk" to many, is not a man to be wronged. And Tess, a daring woman with amazing courage, will stop at nothing to save her children.

Now, with danger at every turn, they bravely follow their son and daughter wherever their cries lead: sacrificing everything to save their family with an indomitable love--one powerful enough to overcome the most overwhelming odds.
