This was a wonderful book. Could be very true for some teenagers these days. Shows the strength of a friendship meant to last. I love how there are happy times and sad times all woven together beautifully in this book. I highly recommend this book.

wonderful coming of age story...gave much insight as to what teens are facing today at school, in their frienships and extra activities.

I loved this book, If you didn't know this is one of the books used to make the movie How to Deal. But I find in this book that Halley is much smarter than she was in the movie but then again Macon is more of a jerk.

I recently finished reading this book and I enjoyed it. It was a quick, easy read and was quite entertaining. If you enjoy teen novels, or any of Sarah Dessen's books then i highly reccomend that you read this.

I enjoyed some of Dessen's books in the past, so I thought I'd give this one a try. It sucked me in big time. It was a refreshingly real look at the struggle that teen girls face dealing with pressure from guys, pressure to drink, and pressure to be who their parents want them to be. I was tempted to knock some sense into Halley partially through the book, luckily Scarlett did it for me. Encouraging book, complete with happy ending, but I'm not going to lie and say the whole story was happy. Life's struggles aren't happy. Definitely worth reading though.

I really enjoyed this, although it was more of a revisit with my high school days than I normally seek out for reading material. I was very impressed with both the writing and the characterizations. A quick, enjoyable read which I would recommend to anyone who's ever gone to high school.

I really liked the book. It is a typical teenage story but with its little details that make it unique. The beginning is not that what you would call interesting but the end is amazing. I would definitely recommend this book.

Book was awesome, really goes through not only the topics that face teenagers but also tries to help with the solutions.
