OK here's how you do the above link.\ First go to the book list or tag that you want to link to, highlight the link to that page and copy it. In the editing box there.s a Blue button that says LINK when you hover over it. It's 5 spots to the right of the happy face emoticon button. Click that and it brings up a box. Paste your link in there and save it. Here's where it's tricky: you type over the link what you want to name it. But you can't click of it or put a space in your title. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times because I make a type or something. It's easy once you know what to do. ETA: it's helpful to people looking, if you are bring up a tag you made, to expand it as long as you can and put 50 or 100 on a page. That saves the looker from having to resort it themselves. 1) To make a list, put your cursor on the My Account tab at the top of the screen. You'll get a drop down menu. Go to "My Lists," then "Book Lists," then "Create a List." Follow the instructions to create a list. Once you have created a list, you can create a link to it in your signature. 2) To create a link in your signature, open another window for PBS and go to "Settings" on the drop down menu under the My Account tab. Scroll down to "Forum Settings" where you'll see a "Signature" text box. In the text box, type the name of your link, for example, "My List." Switch back to the page with your list. Highlight and copy the URL address of the page (i.e., www.....) and then go back to the first page. Highlight "My List," and then click on the weird "link" icon on the top line immediately above the text box -- Mary is right that the icon is the fifth one to the right of the happy face in a regular text box -- unfortunately, it's in a different place when typing in the Signature text box -- it is immediately to the right of the justification icons. If you put your cursor on it, it will read "link." Click on that icon and paste the address of the list in the URL box. Click OK and then click on "update signature." Hope this helps. |
