More romance than mystery, but still a good cozy. First of the Angie Amalfi series.

I was fairly disappointed with the first book in this series; enough that I probably won't continue reading the others. Character development seemed to take a backseat romance scenes. I had a hard time identifying and sympathizing with the main character, and the fairly predictable ending made me happy that I read so quickly. Time to move on to a different series.

This was great! Number 1 in the series (she writes the food column for a newspaper in San Francisco) and I can't wait to read more!

Enjoyed this first of the series about Angela Amalfi. Funny, romantic and great characters. Will be a good series.

Angie Amalfi was more the damsel in distress than heroine. Which got on my nerves! I was really disappointed. I guess I was expecting something more along the lines of Diane Mott Davidson or Joanne Fluke.

One of the first in the series. Since I live in SF I can related to some of the places and being a foodie adds to the enjoyment. Her later books get better.
