I really enjoyed this book even thought I was a little lost in the first couple of chapters. Once I got the characters all straight in my mind it was adventuous, historical in the time of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, and brought the concept of God delivering us through our trials, rather than keeping us from trials. We need them to learn and grow closer to God.
