I have been trying since last nite to print a label using pbs dc (for a swap game) and keep getting this- We are sorry but Delivery Confirmation is currently not available for the TO address, please check it for correctness. I already checked with the member to see if there was any kind of an error with the address and there isn't. I printed another label right before I tried hers and another after, so I doubt if it is my printer- any ideas??? I'm stumped.... |

Check the address with the PO website. They will list the "correct" format. The postage provider and USPS are now requiring the standardized format. This is under the option "Look up a zip code". Now addresses with Drive instead of DR will not process. There is a chance that the address is not registered with USPS. (This happened at my last rental.) There is a form the receiver must file with their own post office. Last Edited on: 9/19/11 2:13 PM ET - Total times edited: 2 |

What Emily said -- if one character (even a comma or a period) is different from the way the Post Office has the address listed in their database, DC won't work. So enter in the site she listed and copy and paste the results. If Emily's link doesn't work, try this site. Then copy the address listed under "Full Address in Standard Format."

That response sounds like the address is probably not registered at the local PO. They have to fill out a form. PBS is going through the member database asking folks to do this for their own address. PBS is trying to prevent just this type of issue with the labels. (This is especially tricky with the APO style addresses.) Last Edited on: 9/19/11 2:20 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I used to have trouble with this with one particular person that played in some of the same swaps I was in. PBS postage and DC wouldn't recognize the address, but PayPal recognized it fine. I just always printed the labels for that person from PayPal. Maybe the USPS site would have worked too, but I never tried that. |

I'd suggest talking to the person hosting the game. She may be aware of this situation with this member, or may have another suggestion for you. Normally, everyone who is a member here should have an address that is in the Post Office database. |

Think problem was in using # instead of Apt. |

It's probably in the right format on their PBS address, they are just not PMing it that way. |
