I read this book on a recommendation of a friend. I absolutely loved the things I learned about the Jewish culture, and the story was very engaging. Not sappy, sentimental drivel. I think many women can identify with the protagonist, I certainly could. The very, very end fell a bit flat for me. As a Christian, it seemed rather vague and nondescript, very different from the depth the rest of the book held. But overall it was worth my time, and I can give it a solid four stars.
