Nerissa (Rissa) Blanchard isn't feeling well. She has recently been disagnosed with Clinical Depression, she has come to be with her family in the midst of crisis, but she longs to be back in New York City working on her next play.... and then she discovers her long lost mother dead in the living room of her family's mansion. It's no wonder she feels as if she is coming apart at the seems. Thankfully Detective Drew Lancaster is there to help her hold it together and when it becomes clear that someone is helping Rissa's condition, Drew helps her find her way back to reality and safety.

Now that my twin has found love, she wants me to be as happy as she is. She doesn't know how blue coming home to this empty house makes me. And our poor mother-- I found her in the library, murdered. I'm thankful that Drew Lancaster was one of the first officers on the scene. He's encouraging and supportive( and he's handsome too). Latelt, i've been hearing strange noises around the house, and I worry that mothers killer--or maybe someone else--is trying to push me ove the edge of madness.
