I have not read anyone's thoughts on this series - I have 4 out of the 5 and have yet to read them - love to hear what you think about them?  Is it a dark and serious series or a funny one?

I had 3 books in the series.  I couldn't get myself to get past the 1st 5 pages of the 1st book.  I even tried skipping some pages thinking it was just a slow starter.  I didn't like the writing style.  From what I remember it was a more serious series.

I have read the first 3, and have the next one upstairs. I liked them.  It goes back and forth between the two main guys point of view, which is different.  Alot of the books out there are either from the woman's point of view, or goes back and forth between the man and woman-love interests -- points of view.

This is the two guys who are a vamps, and have female love interests come and go, but are primarily about the guys point of view.  It is not a romance HEA type of book, but it doesn't quite fit into urban fantasy either.  The one vamp is the maker of the other.    It is a more serious series-- not humorous.
